| Clothes shopping doesn't
have to be an impossible chore.
1.
Have a Plan.
Check your wardrobe and make a mental note of
what you need.
2. Set
a budget. Knowing you can only pay
thirty euro for a skirt ahead of time will help
you sort through the racks faster.
3. Start
early. For special occasions allow
yourself at least two weeks prior to the event
to get the dress. Remember you will need extra
time for the shoes and accessories.
4. Dress
for shopping. If you are looking for
a special occasion dress, try to wear appropriate
underwear to go with the style. Otherwise wear
easy on off clothes . Also styled hair and make
up will make looking at yourself in the dressing
room mirror easier.
5. Shop by yourelf.
If you really need a second opinion, put the item
on hold and bring someone back with you later.
6. Keep a blind eye to
sales and promotions. Stores put enticing
promotion items at the front . chances are you
will blow your budget right there unless you stay
on task.
7. Never
panic. Always ask the advice of a trusted
friend before making your purchase.

8.
Try it on, walk, sit,
bend in the clothes. Do they move easily,
are the seams pulling. Do buttons, zippers etc
function properly.
9. Use
the three way mirror. Get an honest
look at your rear and side view. Watch for extreme
panty lines ( Trousers too tight) bunched up waist
( too big) or any tell tale signs of ill fitting
clothes.
10. Check
the care tags of the garment. If laundry
concerns matter to you, you may want to do this
check while looking. Otherwise see how much care
the garment is going to require.
11. Check
the return policy. Many stores don't
give cash back, just a credit note, and sometimes
final sale items mean you may not return the item
at all.
